(RAD: This discussion starts by observing that the US can't be trusted in negotiations. There are many examples. In the 12-Day War, while the US was negotiating with Iran about nuclear issues, they had already given Israel the green light to attack Iran and this was followed up with the US using B-2 bombers to strike Iran's centrifuge sites. Most states in the Middle East are weak and won't stand up to the US when it is against their national interest. Being a friend or ally of the US doesn't provide any real protection.

Europe has burned all of its bridges with Russia, Iran, and China. Europe has signed their own death warrant. Gas that was going to be available from Russia through Nord Stream is now heading to China via the new Power of Siberia 2 Pipeline. Europe had an opportunity to get energy from Iran, but they burned that bridge as well. Now Europe is stuck with having to purchase expensive LNG from the US and possibly others. Manufacturing that depended on inexpensive gas from Russia is now being shut down.

This was all very depressing for Europe & the Middle East.

Pepe switched gears to share exciting updates out of China from Tianjin, Beijing Victory Day Parade, and the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. Signing the Power of Siberia 2 Pipeline Agreement was huge since gas that was originally expected to go to Europe will now go to China. The Trans Artic Corridor is another game changer where Russia already has a fleet of nuclear powered ice breakers with more on the way. The arrogance of the US & Europe is driving other nations away. For a lot of reasons, it looks like the US & Europe are bringing some difficult challenges down on their heads. — RAD)
