Although Kaliningrad is part of Russia, notice that it is not contiguous with the main body of Russia. It is about 1500km (930mi) driving distance from Moscow via unfriendly Lithuania & friendly Belarus. If the EU or NATO invades Kaliningrad, most of Europe will cease to exist, as is discussed in the video.

(RAD: It is easy to get lost in the details & lose track of the bigger pictures. Scott Ritter does an excellent job of reminding us about issues relating to WW2 that still haunt the world. He also makes it clear why missile defense against ICBMs never works for very practical reasons. Furthermore, there are NO defenses against the many different hypersonic missiles that Russia has. The Russian military is the most lethal & effective military in the world today. It has been battle hardened by the Ukrainian conflict where they have quickly adapted. Remember that Russia is fighting NATO in Ukraine, since NATO trained the Ukrainian military, supplies equipment & ammo & intelligence & financing. Scott reminds us that it was NATO expansion after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 that is the rood cause of this conflict, yet the West wants us to forget this.

I've included the above map that shows where Russia's Kaliningrad is located, since some of the war-mongers in NATO & the EU are talking about invading Kaliningrad. As Scott points out, Putin has made it very clear that any attack on Kaliningrad will be devastating for NATO & Europe.
