(RAD: This is an excellent analysis of what has been behind getting the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ready to be signed by the US & Iran. Pepe explains the events that finally forced Trump to agree to this MoU. Of course, everyone is concerned whether the US will abide by these terms, since the US doesn't have a good track record of abiding by agreements.

Iran has stood firm all the way. All of the 14 points were proposed by Iran. None by the US, although the US kept trying to change these points. The sequencing of events has been established by Iran.

This is a massive defeat for the US, no matter how you try to look at it. The US didn't achieve any of its original objectives. This is also the end of US supremacy in West Asia & the Persian Gulf. Israel is against this MoU, yet they are likely to be brought under control one way or another. — RAD)
