Scott Ritter & Nima Alkhorshid – Ukraine Heading Towards TOTAL COLLAPSE; West must WAKE Up to BRICS Multipolar World

by Dialogue Works [4-21-2024 published].

Scott Ritter is a former Marine intelligence officer who served in the former Soviet Union, implementing arms control agreements, and on the staff of General Norman Schwartzkopf during the Gulf War, where he played a critical role in the hunt for Iraqi SCUD missiles. From 1991 until 1998, Mr. Ritter served as a Chief Inspector for the United Nations in Iraq, leading the search for Iraq’s proscribed weapons of mass destruction. Mr. Ritter was a vocal critic of the American decision to go to war with Iraq. His new book, Disarmament in the Time of Perestroika: Arms Control and the End of the Soviet Union, is his ninth. Scott has traveled extensively in Russia and the Middle East & can communicate in the Russian language.

This is a wide ranging & excellent discussion that affects all of us. The message that Scott Ritter brings to the table in this discussion is not new. It has been out there for a long time for those willing to observe the changes taking place in the world. The first part of this discussion focuses on Ukraine and why it is totally collapsing and why all of the money & armaments being authorized by the House & Senate will NOT change this trajectory. Russia is defeating the West in Ukraine. There will be NO negotiated settlement. Either the West wakes up & surrenders unconditionally, or all of the Ukrainian military will be wiped out, including the Nazi elements. Russia will dictate the terms going forward.

Then attention is turned to the trip of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to China & the trip of Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen to China, both of which were pathetic. Scott points out that China has carefully watched how the West has treated Ukraine and doesn't intend to let that happen to Taiwan. Russia & China have very close business relationships that the West will not be able to drive a wedge between.

It is past time for the West, especially the United States & Europe, to wake up to the the Multipolar reality of BRICS. The longer the West ignores Multipolarity & BRICS, the more marginalized the West will become and the more our standard of living will be impacted.

I would encourage everyone to listen to this discussion multiple times. There are many other articles & discussions on this site that speak to these critical issues. You can also expand your research elsewhere. There is plenty of information out there if we are willing to view the world from the perspectives of the many cultures & countries out there & then start to think about how we can start getting along together instead of thinking that there is only one right way - namely, the way of the 'West'.

If you are not already following the news from Russia, maybe you should start paying attention. You will likely be surprised at what you find. Here are some places to start. I'm sure that you can also find equivalent news sites from China.
