Jeffrey Sachs, Glenn Diesen: Four Years of War in Ukraine – Hegemony or Peace? Where has The West gone Wrong?

by Glenn Diesen [2-23-2026].

(RAD: This is another excellent overview of how The West got from the end of WW2 to now. The West has about 15% of the world population, yet the US keeps wanting to rule over the entire world. The other 85% is tired of being bullied by the US. The 20 BRICS nations & partners want to live in peace. With Russia, China, Iran & India, they are now strong enough to push back against the US. Although the problems of Poland & Russia were similar after the collapse of the Soviet Union, notice how the US was willing to work with Poland to implement recommendations of economist Professor Sachs, yet absolutely refused to work with Russia on the same issues. The US wanted Russia to fail & split up into  multiple regions that could be controlled by The West. At the highest levels, NATO & the US promised that NATO would not expand one inch closer to Russia. Of course, that promise was immediately broken. When you put all of this and much more that Prof Sachs shares, we arrive at the disaster unfolding in Ukraine & related reprucussions. — RAD)

Prof. Jeffrey Sachs discusses the four-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, why Germany is key to resolving the conflict, why the US refused to accept a common Europe with Russia, and how the world order has changed as a result of the war.
