Homebuilders and property developers across the world are turning to China, to slash construction costs and crew time.

Severe shortages in construction materials and skilled labor have driven housing affordability to historic lows. By automating much of the building process to factories in China, homebuilders in developed countries enjoy cost savings of about three fourths, compared to stick-built.
