China, Pakistan are winning big contacts to modernize air forces in Asia, Middle East, and Africa
by Inside China Business [1-23-2026].
Majority-Muslim countries are placing large orders with China and Pakistan for fighter jets and drones.
Chinese-built weapons platforms are far less expensive, with far shorter delivery times, compared to systems on offer from Western companies.
But the success of the Pakistani Air Force in its war last year with India led to a race to acquire Chinese-built aircraft. The JF-17 is produced by Chengdu Aircraft Corporation, in plants in Pakistan.
The JC-10, also built by CAC and which was used to shoot down far more expensive Rafale jets, is also in high demand across the region.
Closing scene, Shenzhen.
